Audience Tickets for 2025
Anyone is welcome to attend the Eisteddfod and watch the performers, but you must purhcase tickets for the specific sessions you want to attend. Most days there are three sessions: a Morning session, an Afternoon session and an Evening session - Each session requires a separate ticket, which will be scanned at the door when first entering.
Tickets are $8 per Adult, and $5 for Concession and for children 12 and over. Children under 12 are free but you must still obtain a Child ticket for them. Performers do not need a ticket for any session in which they are performing, but will need a ticket in any sessions where they are not performing. In most sessions there will be space for performers to sit with their parents in the audience until they need to report backstage. Performers that are part of a school choir/band/orchestra or similar group entered by the school, and brass bands, will be managed according to venue capacity at the direction of Eisteddfod or Venue staff, and should remain with their teachers.
For Theatrical Dance, we offer a Season Ticket Package for $50 which allows one adult entry to watch as many sessions as desired, but you must select which sessions you wish to watch when making the purchase, and you will then be issued individual tickets for those selected sessions. You can only buy the Season Ticket online, but can be collected at the venue - the Paper-based tickets will be stapled for your convenience. Additional sessions can be added to the package later, subject to remaining capacity.
As some disciplines use multiple venues, you may need to select the particular venue to find/select the sessions.
For most disciplines/days, it is possible to purchase tickets at the venue on the day, but tickets can also be purchased in advance through the website of GPAC (Gippsland Performing Arts Centre), through the links listed below. Buying a ticket before the day of attendance, helps the venue to plan, ensures you have a seat, and reduces the wait time for you on the day. Tickets for some Dance and Schools sessions may sell out early, so you are encouraged to purchase them at your earliest convenience to guarantee a seat.
